We believe in the power of Prayer.  To us, this is more than just going to God with a “wish-list” of things we want or desire.  Prayer is a intimate, personal time of communication and worship with God.  In our opinion, Prayer is more of hearing from the Holy Spirit in what God has for our lives.

Psalm 141:2 NIV 2 May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.

We also believe that we are to go to God in Prayer and make our requests known. To Pray for others, for our homes, families, churches, community, leaders and our nation.

James 5: 13-18 NLT 13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. 14 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. 16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. 17 Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! 18 Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.

There is power in our Prayers, when they are aligned with the Will of God.  God always answers our Prayers.  It can be a “Yes”, a “No” or a “Not Now”.  But we can rest assured that God is always available, when we make ourselves available, to humbly go to Him and rest in His presence.

Prayer is a privilege. Prayer is an opportunity to commune with the Creator of All. For Believers, Prayer is essential to live victoriously.

Colossians 4:2 NLT 2 Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
