Ecclesiastes 12:13-14NLT 13 Here is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is the duty of every person. 14 God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.

This is one of the reasons to have Jesus has our advocate. To be our sacrifice for sins. Without His blood to cover and wash us, our sins will be judged, no matter how good we try to be. Nothing we do will ever be enough to make up for our sins. Only the cleansing blood of Christ.

There is so much we desire to do as Christians, asked to do or even fill obligated to do. But for me, one thing is clear…Jesus did it all and completed it all.

What did He do? What did He complete?  Simply the Will of God.

He showed a sincere reverence of the Heavenly Father and obeyed Him, even unto death. We must do the same, for anything less will never be enough. So how do we do this? By accepting and loving God’s Son. Submitting, surrendering, committing and dedicating our lives to follow, serve and love Jesus.

I want no one else to come to my defense when I stand before God, but Jesus.   For no one else will do.

Thank You Heavenly Father for forgiveness of sins, past, present and future by the blood of Jesus Christ. Please help us to live a life that is pleasing to You. A life that is completely surrendered to You and one that will honor You and bring You glory like Jesus did. In His name we pray, Amen.
